Zach here! Karina is off at the women's retreat and I have all the control (and kids, and dogs, and my in-laws hanging out!) So lots of fun stuff going on. I like the momentum we are building with the new time so I am going to still have group this week.

Hey guys! Hope you all are having a wonderful weekend. We certainly are. We will meet once again at 7pm at our place. 2189 SE Meadowlark Dr, Hillsboro.

This week's food theme is finger foods. We will probably do some variation of Mini Sliders and maybe another simpler item to be determined. Tuesday June 20th IF Gathering

Hello friends,

Thank you so much for bearing with us last week, and our last minute cancellation. I am feeling much better now, just a weird 24 hr stomach bug, I guess. But on that note, it would be nice to have a few of you operate as back-up hosts, so that we are not always canceling. But we can discuss this some more next time we meet as a group.

This week is our final IF TABLE. So, once again this will be a ladies only gathering. It will be either at the Sivage home at 7pm. Food is provided so no need to contribute. We do not have any set plans for the Gents at this point. I am going to leave that as an open discussion for you guys to decide among yourselves. Hello Everyone!

We are looking forward to this weeks meeting.  Having finally all gotten over this cold, we are looking forward to getting things back on track and moving toward a new season for our group.  I don't know about you guys, but I am thoroughly enjoying every bit of sunshine we get.   I feel EXTRA ready for spring after this last month of sickness and not to mention this very dreary winter we have had.

MEETING THIS TUESDAY!!!

I am so excited!  It feels like it has been forever.  Having been under quarantine with this flu bug, I am officially ready for some adult interaction.  I have cleaned and disinfected my house, all that remains is about 15,000 pounds of laundry!!!!! Just kidding....but only slightly.  😋

And another reason to be excited....Zach got a new job!!  Thank you Jesus! What an answer to prayer.  This coming Tuesday will mark his first day on the job.  So in celebration of that fact, we will be having a potluck full of his favorite foods!

He loves bar food, fried food, appetizers and Mexican food.  So we have pretty large genre to pull from. I will list a few favorites below if you need some inspiration.  I have not yet decided what we will make, and will probably wait to see what you guys volunteer before I decide.  So don't forget to leave a comment below.

Hello Groupies!

Just a reminder that this week is our Scatter Week due to Valentines Day falling on our usual group night! We will meet again on February 21st in the usual fashion. Just a reminder that scatter weeks are a time to "connect" with people outside of the usual group forum. So, maybe it wont fall on Valentines Day, but I want to urge you all to be intentional this week, and get to know someone on a deeper level. As for myself, I was planning on grabbing coffee with my neighbor this week at Manaia, and taking my daughter out on a date for Valentines Day. However, this recent flu outbreak in our household may keep us under quarantine for a while. Looking forward to catching up with you all on the 21st and the intermediary Sundays (if we make it)!

Tuesday, February 7th, Men's Gathering at McNally's 7PM

Hi Everybody,

As a reminder to all there is no community gathering this week. Instead we encourage everyone to attend their corresponding men's and women's nights occurring this week.

Both events occur at the same time (7PM) at the same location (McNally's) in downtown Hillsboro.

The lady's night occurs on Monday and the guy's night is Tuesday.

These events are a great time to try and make new friends from the gathering and is often attended by people new to the church, so you may have chance to invite them back to our community.

We hope everyone has a good time, meets someone new, and create deeper relationships with people you already know.

Hello all!

I hope you are all enjoying your snow day and spending time with your loved ones.

For this Tuesdays community group we will be meeting at Elise's parents home for Lebanese Food. Yum! I can't wait. Below is what Elise suggested we bring. If you already called dibs on something during last week's community group, please still make a note of it in the comments so others know what's covered. Looking forward to seeing you. Hi Everybody,

We hope you had an amazing Christmas spent with friends, family, and loved ones. We are looking forward to spending time with all of you this Tuesday at our place (2189 SE Meadowlark Dr. Hillsboro, OR 97123).

Nothing celebrates love and community in our household like Mexican food. So that will be the theme of the evening.

Anything Mexican food themed flies. You name it. Some ideas can include

* Tamales
* Enchiladas
* Queso (you will be Karina's friend forever if you bring a vat of queso)
* Rice
* Beans
* Tortilla Chips
* Guacamole
* Salsa
* Taco Soup
* Flan
* Taquitos
* Churros

(I can think of more Mexican food than American food it seems)

And anything else we might have missed. Please post your dish here, in response to the email, or the Facebook page, we will make sure the info ends up together here or there, or everywhere.
