Hey guys!

We are super excited to gather with you this Sunday! I know we were all busy with the holiday weekend last week, and I am interested to know how you all spent it and to catch up on what's new in your lives.

This week we will be gathering for breakfast for dinner. Please leave a comment (in advance) with what you plan on contributing. Zach and I can fill in the holes!

We are meeting at Harlene's home at 5pm. She will provide a breakfast casserole, bacon and juice.

Burgers and Brats and Dogs at the Tanksley House 5pm 8/25/2019

Hi Everyone!

Burgers, Brats, Dogs, sides, and such its a regular PNW Barbeque going down at the Tanksley house!

Not real BBQ in case Grant is reading this (low and slow smoked deliciousness). But still fantastic!

Anways, the first person to commit to some items was Harlene who is bringing

Brats, Buns, and a mystery side dish.

Tanksleys will provide "Gourmet Burgers" I am going to see what I can come up with, possibly some "50/50" bacon/beef burgers.... More info when you arrive.

We could use the following:

Salad
Burger Buns
Cheese slices
Guacamole
Bacon
Dessert
Drinks (I have some Cran-Raspberry Le Croix to offer)

Taco's at the Tanksley's! Sunday Aug 18th 5pm

Hey guys!

Just a quick note, as we are on our way out of town for camping this weekend along the Deschutes River. Check out is Sunday at 1 PM, giving us plenty of time to make it home and even shower before group! 🤞😉

We will be doing tacos this week. And we have the ground beef and flour tortillas covered. Since I assume that none of you are taco noobs, I wont bother listing possible toppings, sides, etc. Just leave a comment below with your intended contributions for everyone to see.

Hey all!

We are excited to get together and meet with everyone this week. I know it's the final run of summer, so everyone is super busy, so before we get into meal planning for this week, let's talk schedules! I've scheduled out the next few weeks, please check your own calendars and let us know what weeks you are available to join us.

As for this week, Zach and I will be baking a delicious casserole dish of our gourmet mac and cheese. Ideas for additional food include:

* Breadcrumbs or Potato Chips or Fritos
* Bacon Crumbles
* Grilled Onions
* Roasted Garlic
* More Cheese

Well, after a crazy, frenetic, chaotic, but still awesome delay, we are ready to make our comeback! (This applies all over again I think!)

We are looking forward to having people come on over to our place so we can hang out, have fun, enjoy food, conversation, and engage in worship through fellowship.

We are planning on doing Yum Bowls,

We have pulled pork and can make the Yum Sauce.

We need the following:

Chicken (to help supplement the pork/options) - Harlene

Sliced Avocados
Sliced Black Olives - Mitchell's 
Fresh Cilantro

January 27 Baked Potato and Chili Bar

Hey everybody,

This week the Pfursich family has generously offered to host for us, so we will be meeting Sunday, 5pm at 6292 SE Gettman Terrace in Hillsboro.

We will be doing a baked potato and chili bar. Should be delicious! We (the Tanksleys), will be making a bean-free (aka Keto) Chili.

Other needs are as follows:

Almost the SuperBowl Food 3:30pm (or later) Tanksley house

Hi Guys,

Zach here again. Soooo I am one of like 15.6 Kansas City Chiefs fans in the greater Portland area, and they are playing a pretty important game (winner goes to the super bowl) against the New England Patriots. So in honor of the fact that this is practically a super bowl to me, I am welcoming the idea of people coming over and enjoying appetizers and super bowl like food this Sunday!

Also, the game starts at 3:40, so, because of this, I am also opening it up for you to come over early if you like! The game will probably go around 3 hours or so, which means group will still be able to end at its normalish time of 7pm.

Feel free to wear lots of red and yellow to support the chiefs, and bring your favorite item that probably belongs on the menu at Chili's (which no longer exists around here).

Please post on the facebook group or on here regarding the food item you are bringing. We will adjust our food based on what others are bringing.

Thanks for putting up with this nutty NFL fan, and I can't wait to see you all on Sunday.

Hi Group! 

    This week we will be at the Tanksley home enjoying chili night. I will list some ideas below:

- chili (your favorite recipe or the canned stuff, we won’t judge.... too much 😉)

- toppings: sour cream, cheese, diced onions, avocado

- sides: corn bread, rolls, tortilla chips, baked potatoes, rice, macaroni noodles (or any other family traditions you may have had!)
